Welcome to Little Feet. We are a Montessori-inspired family play centre suitable for children aged 0-7 years.
Our indoor and outdoor areas have been carefully designed by qualified and experienced early years professionals. Rest assured, with a child-focused approach, you can enjoy a hot drink while watching your child play independently.
All of our staff are qualified early years educators who hold up-to-date enhanced DBS checks, are first aid trained, and have completed an allergy awareness course.
Little Feet is home to a mini role-play village, Montessori-inspired play space, designated baby space, sensory room, and an outdoor play area - there is sure to be something for everyone.
What is Montessori?
Montessori education is child-centred where children learn by doing. It's hands-on with lots of practical activities that build on independence and confidence. Learning environments are carefully prepared with materials that inspire exploration and discovery.
Montessori refers to a philosophy and educational approach developed by Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori. Montessori is a scientifically based educational approach based on self-directed activity and hands-on learning.

Our story
As a mum of two and an early years educator who is passionate about providing learning and play opportunities for young children and families, I have spent the past 15+ years working in day nurseries, being an early years assessor, and spending a short time as a childminder. After having my second child, my plan on returning to work came to a halt when my child was turned away from several nurseries due to his severe allergies, leaving him without any safe place to learn, play, and socialise with others, that's when little feet was created. Now, I aim to provide a safe learning and play environment that families can access without a contract or without being turned away. Parents are a child's first educators so, we are working together to make a brighter future.
